Spartans outclass Usual Suspects

Spartans secured their fourth win in 7 outings last night, crushing UP by 40 runs in a game that can best be described as one sided. Batting first the Spartans led by the at times maniacal WMD, decimated the UP attack notching up 147 runs in 16 overs. The score could've, and in the words of Glen "shouldve" been more, however some errand batting from a number of players on the night reduced the final tally considerably.

UP were always behind the scoring rate after a fiery spell from Saffers, Cather, Dre'ers and Derickers. Super Rob and Nagmeto bowled excellent lines and lengths and had the UP batters wishing for an end to the punishment. In the end the batting and fielding were average, however solid bowling and a poor UP side resulted in an easy win for the Spartans who will need to raise their games if they are to challenge for higher honours.
