MATCH REPORT: La Decimation

Viva le RED. "Parle vous francais mofo" echoed through the hallowed halls of the Stadium of Light as the invincible 24s trounced, spat out then decimated the hapless Sindlers last nigth. Batting first the 24s were never in any trouble and posted a team record of 165 (vs Sindlers). While Sindlers may argue that the beer fumes and dyke chirps from Crazy Slogger threw them off their game, I would like to think that it was pure talent, workmanlike effort and sound strategy that resulted in an imposing and ultimately impassable total. Sindlers reply was spirited...for the first ball, but then slowly eroded as wicket after wicket fell to the slow and wiley pace of the ladies and the brisk counter parries of the men. This was truly a unified bowling performance laced with sublime touch and graceful delivery. The fielding was fraught with a number of blunders but in the end this one detraction did nothing to influence the final result. The 24s WIN by 130 runs.
