The Spartans outfit came from behind to secure a major 7-6 victory against Dream Team on Tuesday night. The victory was clinched by fine finishes from debutants Amakhosi and Shifty who slotted two amazing back heel reverse kick long range (relatively speaking) efforts. Sato also showed his class on the night with a number of deft one two threes; his pre-match warm up routine was also viewed as being the best any had seen at the arena since the legendary Olga "Stretch" McGrouin's 1976 leg bend effort. At the back, the Wall and WMD kept the Dream Team tally down to six proving why pictures of them appear in the Oxford dictionary next to the word 'defence'. Wall in particular had a remarkable game by not getting injured once. He would later put this down to, and we quote, "the spirit of Bonnie Tyler lives deep within me, and I have answered the call that siren has made for a hero, which is me, Rob." The Spartans next game is on Tuesday against the relegation stricken Scorpions side. The kickoff is at 19:50.
