In an amazing feat of brazen juxtapositioning the Spartan convenor of selectors signed a 2 month old hamster for 20 years, in a deal estimated to be worth $346,897. The deal was signed last night at the as yet unnamed selectors homestead in Noordhoek. The Hamster, known by his pet name Jingles, has never played cricket before but is believed to be quite good on the hamster wheel and can nibble through a peanut in 14.3 seconds. This bizaar signing follows earlier signings of a retired race horse "Top Dog" an out of work actor, Joe Joe Clown and a troupe of performing monkeys. It remains unclear whether any of these new 'players' will play in the semi final on Monday.
