The cowardly Crusaders called off their fixture against the Legion on Thursday night citing irregularities in the confidence of certain players; although captain Elton later admitted that goalkeeper Puff had fallen into a gutter after a hectic night at Tiger. This meant that the Legion walked away with full points from the fixture leaving them light hamsters ahead of the pack in League 10B. The dissapointment on the faces of the Legion horde was palpable and you could see it too. But the night was not wasted as the administration droffed up a second rate League 7 side, the underdogs. The Legion wasted no time in concending 4 goals to make sure they had a good go of it and hardly broke a sweat during the encounter. Knowing the time was right to snatch a victory the Legion went on the rampage in the last 10 minutes bringing the game to a 4-4 conclusion. The Legions legendary panache and sense of drama was snuffed out by the corrupt official who blew the game 2 minutes early making it impossible for the Legion to gain a 5-4 morale victory. Never the less the lowly dogs must be happy with a draw against the upcoming and exciting Legion.
