Legion roar to second successive win

Legion News: The indomnitable Legion secured a second straight victory on 24 August to secure top spot on the top of the League 10B Championship table, unseating Mermaid Saints. The Legion faced up to the highly talented Ratski outfit led by Arnus Muis, recently back from injury, to win 6-3. The scoreline may have flatterred the rooky outfit, however, Wall, Legion keeper was quick to praise the defence, which worked like a well oiled rat killing machine on the night. Slick was voted man of the match for scoring his 8th and 9th goals of the campaign. The Legion have yet to play the Mermaid Saints, Aya Jax and Crusaders. Speaking to soccer pundit, Cathy Gill, she was of the opinion that no one could stand in the way of the Legion on current form and that they were likely to collect another set of silverware for the red24 corporation, co-sponsors of the Legion and the the24's cricket franschise. Local expert and wife of Glare (wingman supreme)...Glares Wife, said "it was a good game, my man is so hot and sweaty. He aint getting in the car smelling all funky like that!"
