Captain Packer leads the red24 LEGION to first Win

Good to know you soccer fans, this is Johnno McGivenin and I’m your soccer update news reporter in chief! The red24 Legion led by captain fantastic James Packer got their campaign underway last night with a dazzling display of controlled and skillful soccer that left Admiral Saints wondering who let the dogs out. Led by uber skilled Yoshiya “Slick” Sato the Legion opened up a half time lead of 3-0 over the small and malnourished saints. The Legion controlled much of the first stanza due in no small part to the bulk and extra carry of their hamsized legs and keeno like back punches. The second half started positively with Grant “rough rider” Harrison being stretchered off to the Chundra room and Andre “Keeno” Colling adding a fourth. The young Ethiopian brigades came back admirably but were stymied by the Wall (Rob) and Bundes (Mark) who showed just why they are paid in oranges to play. Thomas “Stare Glare” Bevan added the finishing touches to the win by showing deft one, twos and the occasional threes. Final score Legion 4, Admirably Stinted 3. Injury list for the Legion includes all players except Sick Nick who decided not to play cause of a blocked nose. He will return next week for the opening league game against the Larvae hammer shot team, lead by the grub. This is Johnno signing off! Till next time soccer fans, go out and SCORE something HOT!
