The team came out firing in the early exchanges against the Nova on 17 July and restricted the enemy to 109 meslee runs. Good bowling performances on the night mixed in with indifferent fielding at times showed the fans that this team even at 50% could take it home. The 24s innings started with Mark and Angela and stutterred to 20 runs. This base was built on by Cath and Rob who added a sparkling 40 odd. For Robs fans out there (hi hoff) he didnt get too seriously injured. A third pairing partnership between Nic and Woogalit Woogamuffin produced a fine 13 runs. Some would say the partnership lacked a little something, but in the end 13 is better than... -13 so there we go. Final partnership between Cath (again) and WMD produced a goodish 40 runs. Cath did well once again with a great knock of 19. When victory was accomplished the team drank, sang and made merry. Thanks to Meghan Woogamuffin Jnr for her sterling support.
