Overheard....

Nagmeto (To WMD): Where is thy salute?

WMD: For presenting yourselves on this battlefield, I give you
thanks.

Nag: This is our army. To join it you give homage.

WMD: I give homage to red24. And if this is your army, why does
it go?

Veteran player: We didn't come here to fight for them.

Young player: Home. The Sindlers are too many.

WMD: Sons and daughters of red24, I am WMD.

Young player: WMD is 7 feet tall.

WMD: Yes, I've heard. He kills batters by the hundreds, and if he were
here he'd consume the Sindlers with fireballs from his eyes and bolts
of lightning from his arse (just ask Koji). I am WMD, and I see a whole army of my office workers here in defiance of action cricket bureacratic tyranny. You have come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight? Will you score freely and take wickets like they were little Sindler babies?

Veteran player: Fight against that? No, we will run, and we will live.

WMD: Aye, fight and you may die, run and you'll live. At least a while. And crying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take
our lives, but they'll never take our freedom?!

Nagmeto: Good point.
