The Other Side, with Snoek Botterfinger

DH News-Like an Indonesian volcano ready to release its fury upon the forested lands of Java, the 24s are awaiting their time. The stars are aligned, the batters are fast approaching form, bowlers are hitting their marks and the fielding has begun to reach World-Class status. Who can forget Sarah’s amazing 180 twist, backward one-handed finger edge catch to dismiss Joe from Jack & Jill? This feat mixed in with flashes of bowling brilliance tells this crusty Dutch reporter that something positive is happening at 24s headquarters. The bookies are also beginning to re-evaluate this team, who are the only team to put in a bi-weekly appearance at the Coliseum of Light (also known as Stadium on Main Action Cricket Centre to the stars). The 24s may not have collected full points in 5 of their 6 games, but remember world record holders Jack and Jog play 32 games a week and in the last 10 years have played over 5,000 games as a team. Compare that to the 3 or 4 games each, the current talented crop in the 24s have played. To take Jake and Jubilee, an experienced team, to the last 4 overs was a great achievement. Any doubts? Speak to the hand. This is Snoek Botterfinger reporting for Dutchman Hourly News.
