Interview with Russel the security guy - and cricketing guru - on what the 24s need

Rooters - In an exclusive interview with Russel, Rooters asked him what the 24s needed to win the big games. We were surprised (but not really) when Russel broke into song. This was his reply:

I need a hero
Im holding out for a hero until the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero until the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And its gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life

We then asked him why he felt so strongly, again his sweet melody echoed through the Silverberg lobby.

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There’s someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It’s gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet

Russel was too emotional to continue. Rooters were left stunned by his at times confusing rendition of Bonnie Tylers greatest hit. Trying to figure out how this all connected to social action cricket and why Russel wasnt a international ballad superstar, we left.
